Okay, if you read "The Real World: Oakland", this is very similar. Morgan, Jade, and I are in it, as well as Green Day and some friends of mine that won't be reading this...ever. Time to begin.
Part 1 "This sucks," Jade mumbled sleepily as we walked down C Hall toward our lockers. "God, I'm so tired," I sighed, falling to my knees in front of my locker. Locker 1668. I had memorized the locker number and it's combination the night before, a ritual I had started back before 6th grade, when I first got a locker. "Hey guys!" Mary chirped, arriving at the locker next to Jade's and mine. "How can you be so cheerful?" Jade asked. "Coffee," Mary laughed, trying to combination, but to no avail. "Denied!" I said, opening my locker and pulling out my Spanish book. I then realized that there was someone leaning over me to get to the locker above my head. A senior, probably, since Juniors and Seniors had all the top lockers. I stared at this guy above me. He was kind of hot. Maybe this year wouldn't suck so bad. "Hey guys," Morgan said, walking up to us as Jade and I headed to the courtyard to meet up with some of our friends. "Ignore her. She's just a stupid freshman," Jade joked. "Shut up," Morgan laughed. "What, do you expect me to bow down to you because you're big, bad sophomores?" "Yes." We all laughed and stepped outside into the sweltering Florida heat. "So, do you have a locker by anyone you know?" Jade asked as we looked around for familiar faces. "No," Morgan groaned. "And there's this junior chick with the locker above me who was wearing this really short skirt. Not exactly the thing I want to be beneath." "Well, Dori's the lucky one. The guy with the locker above her is, well, really hot," Jade laughed. "Really?" Morgan asked. "Very," I laughed. "Oh my God! There's Larin! LARIN!" Larin, who had been walking towards the cafeteria, spun around at the sound of her name. She looked around for a second, then spotted me. "DORI!! JADE!!" "Who's that?" Morgan asked. "That's Larin." "Hey guys!" she squealed, approaching us. "Hey, Larin," Jade said. "Hi. I'm Morgan." "Morgan, nice to meet you. I'm obviously Larin," she said, beaming. Larin was just too perky sometimes. "Cool," Morgan said. Then the bell rang. "To homeroom," I announced, and we all went in our respective different ways. I walked towards the portables, not even paying attention when I bumped into aformentioned hot guy. "Sorry," I mumbled, looking at my feet. "Don't worry about it," he said, walking off. God, he was hot. And he didn't remind me of the obnoxious surfer guys that populated my school. I wondered why I had never seen him before. I would remember a guy like that. I think.

Hm... Interesting, lol... Who is that person? You know. Since Tre is younger than Billie Joe and Mike, then he was probably a grade younger too! Yay! He's in my grade... Hopefully.

Part 2 I had promised Jade that I would meet her at the lockers before drama so we could walk there together. I stood there, leaning against the locker above mine and waiting. "Where are you guys?" I murmured to myself. The bell was about to ring, and the last thing I needed was to be late on the first day of school. "Excuse me," someone said suddenly. And there was the hot guy. It took me a second to realize that I was leaning on his locker. "Sorry," I said, stepping aside and trying not to be too embarassed. "It's okay," he said. "I just seem to be running into you everywhere." He noticed me? Oh my God! I tried not to over-react too much. "Yeah," I said, laughing nervously. "I'm Tre," he said, shoving a pre-calculus book under his arm and sticking out a hand to greet me. I shook it. "I'm Dori," I said. "Like the fish?" he questioned. I hated when people asked me this. I twitched a bit. "I bet you get that a lot," he laughed. "Sorry for asking." "Don't worry about it," I said. "Just...don't ask again." "I don't plan on it," he said. "OH MY GOD, DORI! I am so sorry. I totally forgot!" Jade said as she sprinted around the corner. "You forgot about me?" "Sorry," she said. "Let's just go. We're gonna be late." "Bye, Tre," I said, waving as Jade practically dragged me away. "Man, he's hot," I sighed to myself and Jade and I "power-walked" down the hallway to the drama room. Just as we shut the door behind us, the bell rang. "Glad you could join us, ladies," said the teacher. He was a different drama teacher than the year before, since she had gotten pregnant and had to leave. This guy was named Mr. Ming or something. He started talking about improv, something I knew a lot about, or at least I liked to think I did. But I wasn't really listening. I was too busy thinking about this Tre guy. "Hey, Dori," someone whispered from my right. I looked over and saw my friend Sid sitting in a chair a few feet from me. I waved at him and he scooted over. "What's up?" he asked. "Not much," I said, trying to be quiet so Mr. Ming didn't hear us. We sat there for a few seconds before the teacher told us to split up into groups and practice an improv scene. "Wanna be in Jade and my group?" I asked Sid, who just shrugged. "Hey," said another voice. I didn't even have to look to see who this voice belonged to. Steven. He and I had dated for a while, and things were less than comfortable between us. He stood there next to Allen, who was practically his pet monkey. "Hi," I said, trying not to barf all over my new shoes. "Can we be in your group?" Allen asked. "We can't have more than four people," I said, recalling one part of Mr. Ming's speech that I actually listened to. "And we already have three." "I can be in another group," Allen volunteered. Damn it, I thought. "Yeah," Steven said, smiling. "I'll work with you guys." "Fine," I sighed. "But I'm directing. Okay?" Steven flinched a little. When it came to drama, he always wanted to be the director. "Fine," he said, obviously not happy. "Wait, how can we have a director in improv?" "You don't," I said. "That's just an over-all statement for any time you're in a group with me during the year. I will be directing. Or someone else besides you will be." He stared at me, probably wondering why I was being such a bitch. Probably because I had been on cloud 9 with Tre and he popped my cloud. "Um, so are we just supposed to stand here and start acting?" Jade asked. "I guess," I shrugged. "This guy is a shitty drama teacher," Steven said. "I can tell already." I rolled my eyes. Steven had hated our last drama teacher, but I thought she was pretty cool. So his opinions didn't really matter to me. I went back to thinking about Tre, and I was happy again. And as unrealistic as any relationship with him might be, it didn't hurt to dream.

Part 3 "Well, that was extremely awkward," Jade murmured as we walked toward the courtyard. "No kidding," I sighed. "The longest drama class of my life. But maybe because I said I would be the director all the time, he'll get the picture and leave us the hell alone." "Maybe," Jade said, but I could tell she doubted it as much as I did. "Where's Morgan?" I asked, stepping outside and surveying the courtyard. That's when I saw her, talking to some guy. I stared at the guy for a minute before relizing it was Sid. How he had gotten out here before Jade and I was beyond me. "I see you guys met," Jade said as we approached the two. "You know him?" Morgan asked, pointing to Sid. "Yeah," I said. "Wow, I didn't know you guys were all friends," Sid said, looking at us all. "Morgan was in my homeroom class." "Why?" I asked. "Her last name starts with a D. Your's starts with a J." "They fucked up my homeroom," he laughed. "I got stuck with the freshman with Ds in their name." "You make it sound like it was a bad thing," she said. "Well, it wasn't. I got to meet you, didn't I?" he asked. Morgan blushed. This was so weird. Go figure that I had crushed on Sid during most of middle school and not once did he look at me the right way, but now Morgan had just met him and he was already flirting with her. "I'm gonna go see who else has this lunch," he said, getting up and wandering off. "He is so funny," Morgan said as he walked towards the cafeteria. "You like him, don't you?" I asked. "Just a little." "He's pretty cool. Very funny. Extremely perverted," I sighed, sitting next to her and pulling the granola bar I had brought out of my GIR messenger bag and began munching on it. "And pretty cute," she said. "Eh, a little," Jade muttered, sitting down. We sat in silence for a second before I announced, "I'm gonna go buy a drink. Anybody want to come with me?" "I don't have any money," Morgan sighed. "A round of drinks. On me. What do you say? I'm feeling generous," I sighed. "Take advantage of this, Morgan. She doesn't do this often," Jade laughed. "Sure. I'll go." "Me too," Jade added. The two got up and walked with me to the lady that ran the little stand selling chips. Jade bought some Doritos (and made fun of me...calling them "Dori toes" and pointing to my feet), and I bought everybody some Mountain Dew. "Yes! Mountain Dew!" Morgan exclaimed, opening the bottle and chugging the first half of it. "Make it last," I sighed. "I'm not buying you another." "She likes the caffiene, huh?" Sid asked, walking by again. "Very much so," Morgan answered. "Sid!" someone screamed. And down the hallway ran Mary, tackling Sid in a hug. "Sid has a girlfriend?" Morgan asked. "No. That's his ex," Jade informed her. "I wouldn't have guessed." "Most people wouldn't," I said. "Let's go back outside." I took another bite of my granola bar and took a swig of my soda as I passed through the doors. We sat under the tree and ate our chips and whatnot as a few people I knew walked by and waved at me. Some guy that Morgan said was in her math class came over and asked her if she had a dime he could borrow. Otherwise, lunch was fairly uneventful. The bell rang and Jade and I headed to English. As we walked, through the crowded hallway. Someone bumped into me, knocking my bag off my shoulder and onto the floor. "My bag!" I yelled, but it seemed to have been kicked somewhere else. Jade turned around and suddenly I heard someone say, "Looking for this?" I looked up and there was Tre, holding my bag in his hands. I grabbed it and nodded. "Thanks," I said, yelling over the loud people surrounding me. Finally I ducked out of the intersection of B and F hall, as did Tre. Jade looked at him, then gave me the eye. I knew what she was doing, but said nothing. "I figured you would need it," he said. "Yeah," I nodded. "It has my wallet and everything. Luckily you were there." "Yeah," he said. "Well, see you later." "Bye," I said. "OOOOOOOO!!!" Jade squealed as we walked to English. "He likes you." "I think he's a senior. There's no way he likes me." "Stranger things have happened, Dori."

Part 4 "Hey," Zack said, approaching me at my locker after school. "You ready to go?" I had totally forgotten that my mom was driving Zack home from school. I guess I might as well get used to it, seeing as how she would be driving him to and from school every day. "Um, I'm kind of waiting for someone," I said. "Who? Jade?" Zack asked. "No..." "Who?" "Some guy," I said. "Ohhhhhhh," he said, his voice implying he knew I liked this guy. "Do I know him?" Sometimes Zack was more obnoxious than a little brother. But I had known him for 11 years. It was like he was my brother. "Shut up," I said, stalling for a few more seconds at my locker until Tre turned the corner. "Hey," he said, waving at me as he reached at the locker above me. "Hi," I said, grabbing my Spanish book (even though I didn't need it) and a notebook covered in stickers. "How are you?" he asked. "Pretty good," I sighed. "And you?" "Eh, been better," he shrugged. "See you tomorrow." "Okay. Bye," I whispered as he slammed his locker shut and left. "We can go now," I said, turning to Zack as I shut my locker. "THAT was what we were waiting for?" he asked. "Some guy to come ask you how your day was?" "Pretty much," I shrugged. "Let's just go." Zack shook his head as we exited the school. We walked down the road towards the middle school, where my mom picked me up, since the high school parking lot after school was like hell. "So, who was that guy?" he asked. "His name is Tre," I said, tossing my hair and adjusting my backpack. "He's a senior, I think." "Oh," Zack said. "And you like him?" "Duh." Zack tried to suppress a smile. He was so annoying sometimes. But other times he was pretty cool, so I didn't say anything. We crossed the street and headed into the parking lot. "Hey, Mom," I said, climbing into the backseat. "Hey guys. How was the first day of school?" "Okay," Zack said, shrugging. "Pretty good." "Wow," Mom sighed, watching us in the mirror as she pulled out of the parking lot. "You two are talkative." "Why don't you tell your mom about Tre?" Zack asked tauntingly. I shoved him and he hit his arm on the door with a loud thud. "Tre?" my mom asked. "Nobody," I sighed. "Don't listen to Zack." Zack smiled at me, like he knew something I didn't.

Part 5 "Hi," Zack sighed sleepily as he climbed into the car the next morning. "Hey," I said, leaning my head against the window and closing my eyes again to go back to sleep. "How are you doing, Zack?" my dad asked from the driver's seat, sounding way too cheerful. Zack mumbled an answer, but I couldn't hear him. And to be perfectly honest, I wasn't paying attention. I sat there for a while, trying to sleep, but to no avail. I finally gave up and just pulled my iPod out of my backpack, putting the headphones on and listening to some song by the Donnas that I liked. Finally we arrived at school. I say finally like I'm glad we were there, but I was just glad to be out of the car with my dad, who wants to talk all the time. I climbed out, iPod still attached to my ears and waved at Dad. Zack and I headed into the school and down C hall. He went to his locker and I went to mine. "What are you listening to?" a voice asked, just barely audible over my music. "Huh?" I asked, and looked over. There was Tre, reaching over me to get to his locker. "Oh. Um, Nine Inch Nails." "Cool," he said. "I wouldn't have pegged you as a NIN fan." "Oh, well, I am," I said, shutting my locker, although I wasn't in a hurry to leave or anything. "What else do you like?" he asked, pulling an enormous textbook out of his locker and nearly dropping it on the floor. "Ramones. The Clash. Queen. Hot Hot Heat. Foo Fighters. Sugarcult. All-American Rejects." I ticked them off in the usual order. He flinched a little when I said Slipknot and Marilyn Manson, but otherwise seemed fairly cool with my choiced. "Ramones and Clash are probably my favorite," he said. "But Queen kicks much ass too." "Yeah," I said. Then, Jade appeared. "God, I'm tired," she murmured, coming over to her locker and struggling to open it. "Dori, could you open this for me?" "Sure," I said, putting my iPod back in my bag and leaning over to open her locker. She reminded me of the combination, then watched Tre strangly as he walked away. "Dori," she said. "I think that hot guy with the locker above you was checking out your butt." "What?" I asked, suddenly horrifically embarassed. "Either that or he was really interested in the back of your jeans," she said. I blushed, pulling open her locker. "I'm gonna go find Morgan," I said. "I'll meet you here before Drama, okay?" "Okay," Jade said, and I walked off. I really didn't have any intention of finding Morgan. For some reason, I just had the urge to be alone now. I ducked into the bathroom in B hall and locked myself in a stall. I had the nervous excited feeling I got whenever I thought maybe someone liked me. I just stood there in the stall, waiting for the feeling to go away. Finally it did. I stepped out of the stall and left the bathroom, walking down the hallway and into the courtyard. Morgan was standing under the goth tree (which was really weird) and talking to Sid, who wasn't gothic but was excepted by the kids that were. I walked over to her, concious of all the goth kids (who called themselves Goonies) staring at me as I walked over there. "Hey!" she said when she saw me. "Where's Jade?" "I don't know," I said, shrugging. "So, what were you guys talking about?" "Sid said something about movie night, and I just asked what that was," Morgan sighed. "Oh. Well, a bunch of people come over to my house and we watch a movie, then goof off and do nothing. God, it's been forever since we've had one," I said. "Yeah. The last time we had one, you and Steven were going out," Sid said. That was when I noticed that Steven was standing under the goth tree as well, not really paying attention to me. I didn't make a point to wave to him or anything. "Yeah," I said, remembering that time. We had watched Chicago cause Leah had never seen it. And Sid had sat in the chair of solitude because he and Camille were the only people there who weren't currently in a relationship. "We should have one!" Morgan exclaimed. "Like, tonight." "Not tonight. Maybe next week," I said, shrugging. "Okay," Sid sighed. "Let me know the time and place and I'll be there." "Sounds good," I nodded. Morgan seemed thrilled. I didn't know why, though. It was just movie night. No big deal. Then I saw Sid. Of course. A movie. With Sid. It would be kind of like a date for them. Kind of.
