[glow=pink,2,300]PART ONE[/glow]
A girl about 22 years of age sat on the edge of her chair grasping headphones to her ears. The voice playing in her disc changer was one of the funniest guys she had ever heard. He obviously didn't know he was hilarious, or he would have his own talk show already. She whipped around in her swivle chair forgetting about the headphones.
"Whoa!" she flew backwards landing with a thump. She pulled her headphones off and then pushed her wavy black curls from her eyes. She stood up and then pulled her chair back underneith her. Casually, she picked up her phone and dialed three numbers. Hopefully, her boss was in his office.
"Hello?" a raspy voice answered on the other end.
"Hi," the black haired girl said.
"Oh! Miss Clemmings!" the gay voice said excitedly.
"Yeah. Hi, Mr. Greene," Miss Clemmings continued, "I think that I have the perfect person for this show opening."
"Really? Oh that's wonderful Stormi! Who is it?" Mr. Greene said feminenly.
"His name is Tre Cool..." Stormi lifted a filed out of her desk drawer and held the phone to her ear with her shoulder. As Mr. Greene blabbed about nothing in particular, she found the photo of this Tre guy. He wasn't too bad looking. Actually, he was kind of cute.
"Stormi?"
"Oh, sorry!" Stormi fell back into reality.
"Okay, you can interview Mr. Cool over lunch tomorrow I guess. Are you free?"
"Am I ever not?" Stormi said smartly.
"...Tomorrow then!" Mr. Greene hung up and Stormi was left with the photo as her only company. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door and in came a man the same age as her. He had longish brown hair and was in need of a fresh shave. He was one of those rugged hotties, but his personality turned almost everyone away.
"Yo, Stormi!" he said and hyperly held out his hand for a high five.
"Jordan..." Stormi said and quickly tucked her files away into her breifcase. If Jordan found out about Tre he might try to get an ealier interview with him and then Stormi would lose her directing oppurtunity. Abruptly she took his hand, and shook it. What ever he wanted she gave the him opposite. He knew that already but was too dumb to imply the information when the two actually had to interact.
"Whoops!" Stormi leaned over and grabbed the microphone and switched on the ON AIR button, "This is Stormi signing out and leaving you in the hands of Jordan. Rock on." She flipped the switch again and then grabbed her coffee. Jordan sat down in the little radio booth, put on the headphones, and then winked at Stormi. She did the first thing that came to mind and flipped Mr. Rugged-Hottie the Pretty-Birdie.
Before leaving, and hopefully before he was on the air she heard Jordan say, "I like 'em feisty...Hey, this is Jordan givin' you some time away from the punk stuff and dishin' out some great grunge! Here's Pearl Jam with Off He Goes!"

A word of caution from the author: Green Day does not exist in this fanfiction, because then wouldn't you think a punk DJ like Stormi would know who the fuck Tre Cool was? Exactly. And right now Tre is 23 years old instead of 32. Oh, and the networking company that Stormi works for owns a radio station AND a music TV channel; That's how she is going to direct Tre's possible show, duh. She works in the media area, so she is able to do broadcasting on the radio, direct, or even be on the TV shows. Uh, yeah, that's about all you need to know. Oh and Tre still knows Billie and Mike, they just aren't a band. Okay? Good! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ [glow=green,2,300]PART THREE[/glow]
As fast as she could Stormi made her way into the street. There was a yellow taxi. Jopie had probably just gotten onto her shift. Without hesitation Stormi jumped in and said, "Panera Bread, Jope!" The taxi cab pulled away quickly yet smooth and made it's way towards the shopping plaza. Jopie made small talk on the way.
"So what's this person look like?" she asked eyeing Stormi up in the rear view mirror.
"Okay, I guess," Stormi surprised herself when her cheeks went hot.
"I guess," Jopie repeated and laughed. "So it's a guy? By your clothing I take it he's a punk too?" she turned right at a stop sign, "I mean if I was going to interview somebody I'd dress in a nice suit or at least a blazer."
"I think he's punk, but what's with the labels? Jeez, I hate that...Oh and, Jope?" Stormi opened her bag and dug around before pulling out a black blazer decorated with a few pins around the collar area, "I did bring a blazer."
Jopie laughed and shook her head. The tax pulled up to a screeching halt.
"Bye, Jopie! Wish me luck!" Stormi said, grabbed her bag, waved, and left. As she leapt onto the sidewalk her Converse got caught in the drain pipe. "Oop!" she flat on her face. A few people sitting at a table outside of Panera chuckled so she casually got up, brushed herself off, and spotted a tear in the knee of her capris. It was surprisingly attractive, at least to her.
Lauren may think she's accident prone but I think I am starting to catch up, Stormi thought.
She looked at the table of people that had laughed at her. Not one of them was without a polo shirt or skirt. Hopefully - no none of them were Tre, thank God. Stormi entered the resturaunt. Not many people were there that were visble upon entry.
After ordering a green apple Jone's soda she flopped into the first booth she saw. Whoever was sitting behind her in the other booth was going to feel that bump!
Sipping her soda, Stormi reached into her bag to pull out Tre's portfolio and interview sheet. His picture was paper clipped to the manilla folder professionally. Stormi ripped it out from under the metal clip and tooked at the guy's eyes. They were incredibley blue! The punk rock girls would go crazy for this guy if he got his on TV show. Stormi corrected herself. WHEN he got his own TV show.

PART FOUR
Growing a bit bored Stormi tucked eveything into the folder once again. She went to stand up and go see if Tre was at one of the other tables outside the resturaunt but as she did she hit her head of of something hard.
"Ouch!" she fell back into her seat clutching her head. She looked up to see someone duck back behind the booth divider that they had been looking over. Yeah, hit me in the head, then run for it... she thought and then bent over the booth divider herself. The person was a guy about her age, but she couldn't be sure because the only thing that she could see was the top of his head. Slowly she tapped him on the shouder.
"Hey! You hit me...Well actually I hit you, but you were in the way," she said not being afraid to talk to anyone. The person bent his head back and smiled at Stormi.
"Hi!" he said. It was Tre. Definetly. His blue eyes and charming smile gave it all away. He was even more attractive in person. Stormi couldn't talk. There was nothing that came to mind at all. Spotting in the corner of her eye she saw his pair of Converses. They were black like her's too.
"Hey, n-nice shoes!" she said and blushed. She crept down from the booth divider and then made her way to his booth.
"You have the same ones, cool," Tre said. He obviously was told to look for somebody that looked a bit professional. "Hey, have you seen some Stormi chick?"
"I don't see people by their names," Stormi laughed and then sat down across from Tre, "but I know people by t-their names." Why was she stammering like this?
She had a knack for talking to anyone about anything but around Tre she was speechless and lost in the blue abyss of his gorgeous eyes. She was hopelessly lost in them, she had to admit. And the childish yet ever so handsome smile he had almost knocked her over.
"I'm Stormi." She finally managed to say and held out her hand for him to shake it, or whatever he wanted to do with it. He wasn't like Jordan, she could already tell.
"Oh, jeez, hi!" he laughed and that made Stormi shake somewhat. Not a scared shake but that extremely giddy sensation that sweeps over you when you are around that one person that just seems to have your heart in his hand.
"Are you cold?" he asked.
"Oh, just a little," she didn't want to look like a moron so she grabbed her blazer and pulled it on quickly. "Okay," as soon as she had her jacket on she was ready for business. What kind of business? a voice in the back of her mind whispered, but she pushed it aside.
She began the interview a little shakey, but then after getting to know Tre a little better things went smoothly. He was still the funniest person she had ever met. His intellegence was covered completey by his humor. At one point Stormi found it hard to look away from Tre. He took seemed to be gazing at her and at one point, HE was the one that stumbled over his words.
"I went to c-clown college for a little," he stammered and then brushed back his hair with a quick, clearly nervous sweep of his hand.

Okay, this is chapter whatever continued. Tre just told Stormi about how he went to clown college. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ MORE PART FOUR
Was he serious? Stormi broke their perpetual gaze and rose one eyebrow.
"Clown college? They really have those things?" she smiled and then couldn't resist but to burst out in laughter.
"Well, yeah! Where do you think all those people in the circus come from?" Tre said smiling. Stormi was finally getting to be comfortable around Tre and she was so glad.
He wasn't Jordan and he wasn't exactly a punk. He was Tre Cool and that was it. Mr. Cool. He was so unique and fun to be with.
Stormi looked down at the interview sheet. Everything was filled out and there were even some little hearts dotting the I's. How nice. She would have the make another copy without acting like a total basket case.
Tre peered over at the paper with his sapphire eyes. "So are we done?" he asked childishly.
"Yup." Stormi said and quickly tucked the sheet away into her bag before Tre could notice the absentmindedly drawn hearts.
"Um...So..." he said and his eyes darted up to the ceiling. He blushed and titled his head back down. "Do you wanna go to the record store with me? Do you have the time? It's right over there, you know?" he said at super speed.
Stormi was a DJ, of course she knew where the record store was, yes she had the time, and...
"Yes, I'd love to," Stormi said and stood up immediately. Tre jumped up and grabbed Stormi's bag.
"Here you go," he said and handed over the paper filled bag.
"Thanks," Stormi said and then something raced through her mind. Were they going on a date? It wasn't a TOO serious one, she knew that, but did Tre like her back.
Suddenly, she felt his fingers slipping between hers and intertwining themselves. I guess that answered her question. Sheepishly, he looked Stormi in the eyes asking if she wanted the same thing.
She smirked and then tightened her grasp on his hand.
"Good," he said and then they were off to the store.

PART FIVE
The two entered the record store within a minute or even less. The store was right next to Panera so it was pretty convenient.
"Hold on, right here," Tre said and then left Stormi at the threshold of the store where all of the new CD's and albums were. She shuffled the boxes and came upon a Cyndi Lauper special album. Stormi scanned the songs and looked at the price. Not bad, not bad. She put it back but was sure to remember it.
Moments later Tre came back with someone following right behind him. He had blond hair and blue eyes, just a tad lighter than Tre's. He was almost half a foot taller than Tre and his smile was friendly.
"Stormi, this is Mike. Mike this is Stormi," Tre said introducing the other two. "Stormi works at the radio station. She's a DJ, and maybe a director for the TV station soon." Tre winked. "Mike works here, at the record store."
"Cool," Stormi said, "But how come I've never seen you before?"
"I just started last month and then I was working on deliveries and shipments. All that 'fun' stuff," Mike replied.
"Oh, I see. And now you are a store clerk. Good for you," Stormi said and smiled.
"Thanks," Mike said and then they both turned to Tre.
"Uh, well. Let's look around Stormi and see if we can find you some new stuff?" Tre suggested.
My turn, Stormi thought and then grabbed for Tre's hand. His fingers went smoothly between his and it felt so right. She had this feeling before though. It was with Jordan, but she could never feel that way towards that bastard any more.
She shook her head to rid the death threats she had cursed Jordan with and began to enjoy herself. As Tre and Stormi rounded the corner to look at the rock/pop albums a flash of maroon hair caught Stormi's eye.
"Hey, one second," Stormi said and reluctantly dropped Tre's hand for the moment. Curious by nature, Stormi allowed herself into the back room while Mike, who seemed to be the only person working at the moment, was busy with a teenage skater boy.
Stormi pushed through the beaded curtain door and then made her way stealthily down the hall. She peered into the first room on her right and then walked in.
"Jopie? What are you doing here?" she said releived that who she thought she was following was really who she predicted.
"Um, nothing." Jopie said innocently.
"Really? You don't work here, do you?"
"No."
"Then what are you doing?" Stormi interrogated.
"Uh..." Jopie blushed and it was even visible under her tan skin. Stormi bit her lip. She knew what it was.
"Mike's your boyfriend. The one that you never talk about and never mention his name. The really sweet and adorable one that you've been hiding from me?" Stormi shook her head, "Why?"
This was quite amusing, this whole ordeal.
"I don't know," Jopie started, "I guess I was just shy."
"SHY?!" that was the last word to descibe Jopie Shmit!
"Yeah, I have my moments," she said and then pulled her hair back into a short ponytail. It wasn't even a ponytail, it was so short. Her hair had always come up to her ears then flipped out as long as Stormi had known her.
"Alright, then I guess I should come clean," Stormi said. Wait, come clean with what?
"Come clean with what?" Jopie smirked and narrowed her look on Stormi. "I knew it!"
"Knew what?" Stormi was taken aback.
"It's that guy you're interviewing!" Jopie's smile grew wider and wider until she had to bite her lip to control herself. "Awww..."
"Shut up, Jope!" Stormi said and then blushed. She could feel it.
"Well, why are we sitting back here in secret if we now know each other's deepest darkest desires?" Jopie said and stood up ready to leave.
"DESIRES?!" Stormi practically yelled.
Jopie just rolled her eyes and then led the way out to the main section of the store. Stormi followed her mind racing over everthing that Jopie had mentioned.
Desires? Boyfriends? Mike and Jopie? Tre and herself? Wow.

PART SIX
Jopie led the way out and immediately Tre rushed over to Stormi.
"Look," he said showing me a punk hits record. "I thought that you would want it, so I bought it." He smiled and then handed Stormi the record.
"Aw, thanks Tre!" she said and gave him a hug with both arms not wanting to seem totally shy while Jopie was watching.
"Uh huh..." Jopie smirks and then walks off to find Mike.
"Who is that?" Tre asked still smiling from Stomri's hug.
"That's Jopie. She drives a taxi and is apparently Mike's girlfriend," she explains and then grabs onto Tre's arm instinctively.
"Oh! So that's the Jopie that he's been talking about all the time!" Tre says.
"Yup, that's Jopie," Stormi laughs and then lets go of Tre's arm so she can grab his hand and walk over to Mike and Jopie.
"Ah, here they come now," Jopie kids as she sees Tre and her best friend, hand in hand.
"What is there a rule about holding hands or something?" Tre pipes up. Finally he is beginning to speak his mind like he had on the recording Stormi had listened to over and over again before they had met.
Mike shook his head and then nodded towards the back room, "And if you wanna do more than hold hands, that's what the back rooms were made for." Stormi laughed surprisingly, when before she would have probably kicked Mike in the balls like she had done to Jordan.
"Speak of the devil," Jopie mutters as the bell above the door rings, signaling Jordan's unexpected arrival. That was kind of creepy. How did Jopie know that Stormi was thinking about that jerk? It was just a coinincidence though.
"Oh, shit." Stormi says and suddenly all of her happy thoughts are full of that monster.
"Who is that?" Tre murmurs, concern clear in his voice, as Jordan begins walking over to the Heavy Metal section of the store.
"Nobody," she says as her eyes begin to burn. She turns back around to face Mike who is behind the counter. Looking up at him she sighs with anger, then Mike's eyes become warningly wide. What? Was Jordan coming over? Oh, God. No. NO. NO! NO!!! Stormi turns around and sees Jordan staring right at her.
"Hey, Sweetcheeks," Jordan says and tries to put his arm around her, but she grabs his wrist with lightning fast reactions that seem to come out of her pure anger towards her co-worker. Twisting slowly but hard, she hears his wrist pop. Okay, let go. She drops his hand and glares at him, the fire in her eyes sparking up.
"If I weren't in a public facility, I'd spit in your face."
Tre's eyes go wide, and he passes a glance at Mike. The blond wobbles his head to the side just a smudge so that maybe Tre'll get the message and defend his girl. Abruptly, Tre does.
"Yeah..." he tries to think of something else. Oh, Tre, why are you so dumb at times like these? Stormi laughs slightly in her head and then Tre does the most unexpected thing. "Step off, man. She doesn't like you obviously. I don't like you either and I don't even know your name."
"It's Jordan," Jordan says coolly. Why was he even here? Oh, damn lunch breaks!
"Alright then. I'll address this properly," Tre says and Stormi's eyes go wide this time. She begins to smile uncontrolably. "JORDAN! Step. Off. Of. Stormi."
"What would you do about it?" Jordan says cocking his head slightly to the left.
"...This," Tre punches out a Jordan's shoulder, hitting dead on.
"Ah, bitch..." Jordan says grasping his shoulder and wincing. "Who the hell are you?"
"Stormi's boyfriend!"
Lights out, Jordan!

PART SEVEN
Stormi gasped as Jordan hit the floor. Tre was frozen in spot, his fist still hanging out in the open air. Jopie's eyes were wide and a sort of smirk found it's way across her face. Mike's mouth was agape, stunned that Tre could actually knock someone out.
"Tre!" Mike said in a hushed tone trying not to alarm the other costumers that hopefully didn't see what happened. "He's out cold!"
Jopie spun around and examined the store. "Nobody's here. Maybe you should lock up until we find somewhere to hide his body and all..." Her voice dragged out as she realized that she had said "hide" and "body" in the same sentence.
Stormi rushed to the door immediately and switched the little metal lock. She rushed back and then hugged Tre furiously.
Mike and Jopie stood back for a while as if they had accomplished something by having their two best friends dating.
Tre looked down at Jordan, "I guess I don't know my own strength."
Stormi just shook her head and then Mike came out from behind the counter.
"Alright, where are we putting this guy until he wakes up?" he asked scratching the back of his head.

PART EIGHT
"It wasn't me!" Tre suddenly burst out and backed up from Jordan's limp body. What was that about?
"Tre," Stormi said in her most conforting voice, "it's alright. It's alright." She wrapped her arms around him and looked at the side of his face until he turned to look at her.
"I did do that!" he was shocked, "Huh. That's kinda cool."
Stormi shook her head and then let go of Tre's waist. "Well, being that he's unconcious, I don't think Jordan's gonna move himself into the back or wherever we're putting him."
"The back's good," Mike said and grabbed the metal head's other arm. Tre and Jopie grabbed onto his legs and then the four carried the limp body into the room where Stormi had talked with Jopie. "Set him on the table, I guess." Mike half laughed and then helped haul Jordan ontop of the surface.
"Should one of us watch him in case he wakes up?" Jopie said biting her pinky nail ever so carefully.
"I don't think so," Mike answered. "If he woke up alone in a room with Tre, there will be a massacre. If he woke up with me, then the same thing might happen. And definetly, you ladies aren't staying in here!"
Stormi shrugged and then opened up the door so everyone could exit.
As everyone emptied into the store once again, the group noticed that the sun had set and everything was dark. "Tre, where are you staying tonight?" Jopie said suddenly.
"Uh...At Mike's. Again," he said looking at Mike questioningly.
"Or..." Jopie was plotting.
"Oh!" Mike interjected, "Do I know where this is headed, Jopie?"
"I think so," Jopie said, grabbing onto Mike. "Tre, you can stay with Stormi tonight!" Smiling innocently Mike and Jopie left Stormi to answer. She couldn't say no. But her house was in no state to be visited. Especially by her new boyfriend.
"Uh, yeah! Sure. That would be awesome," Stormi answered though. Shoot, nice "quick thinking."
"Cool," Tre said and bit his lower lip with excitement. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Good place to stop. Hehe. And get back to my other story, that needs a bit more developed. ;D

THE REST OF PART EIGHT
"I'll take you guys home and then I guess I'll be hanging out at Jopie's, if that's okay with her," Mike said grabbing his keys from the back of the counter.
"That works," Jopie said smirking.
Stormi wanted no imformation of what would be happening at her best friends house that night. "Well, come on Tre!" Stormi said and grabbed her new boyfriend's hand.
"Coming!" he answered and Mike busted out a short lived laugh. Jopie's hand was heard heard slapping Mike's forehead and not till Stormi and Tre were in the car waiting for it's driver did Stormi understand the joke.
Mike and Jopie hopped into the car moments later and Mike tore away from the store. Compared to Jopies grade A driving Mike was clearly at least a D. Tre and Stormi hung onto their lives in the back, once in a while bumping into eachother. Stormi would giggle and Tre would just squeeze her saying, "I'll save you!"
Finally after their brains had been sterilized into mush by Mike's driving. Stormi lead Tre to the door of her home and waved good bye to Jopie and Mike as they drove off.
"Well, it's not too clean," Stormi warned and opened the door so Tre could go in.
"Woah! It's way cleaner than mine! I mean Mike's..." he blushed.
"Well, make yourself comfy and if you need to use the bathroom it's upstairs next to my bedroom," Stormi said, "I'm gonna go get us some drinks. What do you want?"
"Caffinated," Tre said and Stormi laughed as she went into the kitchen to grab a couple sodas.
As Stormi was busy searching through her extremely messy fridge, Tre welcomed himself upstairs, but not to go to the bathroom. What would it hurt to just look around? Plus, he never slept in his clothes. He'd just slip into his boxers, and hopefully Stormi wouldn't mind. He would just be so incredibly uncomfortable sleeping in his clothes.
Slowly, Tre welcomed himself into the room next to the bathroom, which happened to be the cleanest room in the house. The bed was made and the posters were aligned very well. All of the dresser drawers were in their slots and no clothes were laying around on the floor. Either Stormi was a neat freak, or she chose to sleep on the floor and wore the same clothes everyday. Tre laughed and began to mozey around the room. Spotting a bulletin board he examined everything on it. Concert tickets, pictures of Jopie, a bunch of printed out lyrics, mardi gras beads, bumber stickers full of smart ass remarks, and tons of other stuff. But then, one thing caught Tre's eye. It was that Jordan guy. His picture. Hanging on Stormi's bulletin board. Luckily though a sticker next to it read, "I'm not with stupid anymore." Did Stormi go out with Jordan? Seems like whenever Jordan was around Stormi the ass implied that.
Passing over the matter, Tre spotted another picture of a girl with brown hair and her tongue sticking out at the camera. Below, was a note that said, "Hey, Stormi! I hope I get to visit you! I'll still e-mail you and everything from Canada! Aw, I'm gonna miss you and Jopie, and everyone at the station! Just don't let some dick head take my place!" Then the girl had drawn a stupid looking smilie face and scribbled her signature onto the paper. Her name was Stephanie.
Tre laughed and then something clicked in his brain. So, was Jordan Stephanie's replacement at MFUAN? His brain surprisingly continued it's processing. Stephanie had been one of Stormi's best friends, then when she moved to Canada, Jordan came into the picture. Wanting her friend back and someone to talk to, Stormi had gotten close to Jordan. But just how close? Tre wouldn't ask. It would be embarrasing for Stormi to answer.
Wow, that was definetly something that didn't happen to Tre too many times. He walked over to Stormi's bed and then absent mindedly flopped back onto it. He didn't realize it but he was whooped.
