Well her real name is Kianna, pronounced (kee-on-ah). I like it, haha. Anywho-
Part Four -Dori's POV-
Karla and I trudged up the stairs to Adam’s apartment, carrying our kids, their bags of stuff, and a silence that didn’t make me feel too good. Finally I decided to break it. “So,” I looked at the ceiling, and continued walking until we reached the door to Adam’s, “What do you think of Gerard?” “Who?” Karla said, “Oh, him. Well, I guess he’s nice. We’ll get to know him and then we’ll all be friends. That’ll be cool, huh?” Liar. You could always tell when Karla was lying because she blinked a lot and just then she had gone through a massive eyelash attack. “Ha,” I rolled my eyes and knocked on the door, “You like Gerard as much as Tre likes having no beer.” Karla laughed but didn’t disagree which told me that she had the same feeling that I did for Gerard. He was just different from the rest of us. Really, how should I say it? Dark, I guess. I shoved all thoughts from my head as Karla and I began to talk with Adam about how we loved to spoil our kids. “And if Kianna starts to cry about something, don’t automatically go change her diaper or whatever, just pay attention to her a lot,” Karla grinned. Adam nodded and then told us to leave. How nice. “Now get out of here,” he shooed us away, “Everything will be fine! Go have a nice time.” “Okay, okay,” I laughed as I was being pushed out of the room, “We’ll be back whenever.” “Alright!” Adam groaned, smiling and then shut the door on us. Karla shrugged at me making that face she made whenever she was ready just to go act like a wild person. I smirked and dashed down the stairs, so happy that we were all back together.
Jade’s POV
“Yeah, we’re really excited too,” I said trying to get that awkward feeling out of the air. It turned deadly silent and then Dori and Karla came through the door. “Okay! Let’s go,” Morgan and Billie Joe said grabbing each other’s hand and then gliding out of the room, past everyone. Tre grabbed his keys and a jacket and left with Dori and Karla and Mike. Then there was just me and Gerard. “So?” I asked. This was the first time that we had actually had the chance to talk about my friends privately. “Well, um,” Gerard smiled and scratched his head, “I really don’t think that they like me.” “Don’t me silly,” I said frowning, “Morgan likes your makeup!” “Yeah, but,” he sighed, “I’ll just have to get to know everyone better.” “Exactly. Now let’s go before they get suspicious,” I grinned and kissed Gerard on the cheek before we both walked out to Dori’s minivan parked outside of the apartment complex. “A soccer mom’s transportation,” Billie Joe laughed as him, Morgan, and Tre all squished in the back of the car. Mike and Karla took up some of the back seat and Dori was driving. “One of you can sit here, and another up there,” Mike said, nodding to each spot. I pushed Gerard into the seat Karla and Mike were sharing and took mine up front. Okay, Gerard, talk, mingle, and make things a bit less tense.

Part Five Gerard’s POV
The ride to the club was the longest ten minutes of my life, at first. It would’ve been better if I had been able to speak for myself, instead of Jade saying, “Oh, why don’t you tell them about that one time,” every single time silence fell upon us. Finally there was a moment where I was able to talk for myself. “So,” I began trying to think of something to say, “What kind of music do you all listen to?” A chorus of, “Rock!” hit me hard. Every single one of them had the same taste of music. “Really? Awesome,” I said feeling more comfortable. I swear, music is an international language. “What bands?” “Kiss,” Morgan beamed. “Rush, Queen, Nirvana, The Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Ramones.” Soon Billie Joe had joined in on the naming, “The Buzzcocks, The Kinks-” “JULIE ANDREWS!” Tre yelped making all of us laugh. Okay, these people weren’t as bad as I thought that they would be. Jade turned around and smiled at me, “Tell them what you like, jeez!” “All of those bands plus Metallica, Motley Crue, David Bowie, etcetera…” I ticked off my favorite bands and then added, “I used to play the bass, but I sucked.” Everyone laughed again. “You’re okay, Gerard,” Mike finally announced my approval. “Oh, thanks?” I laughed as we pulled into the club’s parking lot. “He’s only saying that because he plays bass,” Karla explained. “No, I’m not!” Mike said. “Gerard’s cool,” Dori said. Everyone had finally approved me and we could finally just go have some fun.
Mike’s POV
We entered the club, to be hit with thumping, pounding music. Morgan immediately expressed her distaste about the music, but was soon dancing on the floor with Billie who was a bit out of sync. Karla and I sat at the bar and Karla ordered us both some fancy drinks that I had never heard of. You would imagine, me the friend of Tre Cool, would know every drink ever created. We sat there sipping away talking occasionally, but mostly watching all of the single people at the bar trying to impress the opposite sex, or the same sometimes. Tre and Dori were off in a corner talking to another bartender. They were probably talking to him about making Tre a Cheech or something. Soon the couple walked over to us, Tre happy as ever because he was having some alcohol with a lemon slice. Dori had a huge icy, red drink in her hands. “Where’s Gerard and Jade?” Dori asked then took a long sip threw a twisty neon green straw. “I don’t know,” Karla said, scanning the room. I looked too, not knowing where they could be. Morgan and Billie Joe were still dancing away, but there was no sign of Jade and her accomplice. Morgan and Billie came over to us soon, sweating profusely, but they didn’t really seem to mind. “Ugh! I hate this music,” Morgan moaned, taking a sip of Dori’s drink which she had been offered. “Yeah, me too,” Billie jumped into a bar stool, followed by Tre, Dori, and Morgan. “Where’d they go?” “J and G?” Tre said looking around, “We haven’t seen them since we came in here.” “Hmph,” Morgan sighed looking around, “I’ll find them.” At that Morgan took off towards one of the couches near the other said of the club, and jumped onto the shelving right above it. Dancing around bottle once full of beer and purses she glanced down into each little sitting area. Every time though, she would look up at us and shake her head, then be chased away by irritated customers. “Sorry,” she would murmur. Then finally she disappeared. Billie Joe groaned, but was still smiling. “They’re over there,” he started to walk off, and all of us followed. When we got there, Morgan was sitting squeezed in between Jade and Gerard, smiling like never before. She laughed at the both of them and their horrified faces. Obviously, she had jumped from the shelving, landing right between them. That would explain the shrieks we heard on our way. We all squished into the couch too, laughing. There’s nothing that I wouldn’t do for these people. Nothing at all. (((“I won’t cross this street until you hold my hand,” Swing Life Away by Rise Against)))
